Catering for 20, 50, or 100 People: How Much Food to Order

Catering for 20 people lands you in our 20-person Spread (feeds 20, $399); 50 people is the 50-person Full Spread ($999); and 100 people is the 100-person Grand Spread ($1,999). Those are the quick answers. The longer answer is that almost any headcount maps cleanly to one of our family-style tray packages, and for in-between numbers we will build you a custom quote. Here is how to order the right amount of food the first time.

Match your headcount to a package

Our trays are served family-style and built to feed a specific number of people. Find the package closest to your number. Per-person cost works out to about $20 ($19.95 to $20.00) whichever size you choose, before delivery, tax and extras. For in-between headcounts, ask for a custom quote.

For groups above 100, we scale the 100-person Grand Spread to your number — and direct orders save $0.75 per person for every 25 guests above 100: 125 guests is $19.24 per person, 150 is $18.49, 175 is $17.74, and 200 or more is $16.99. Request a quote.

The three most common headcounts

Catering for 20 people: Go with the 20-person Spread, which feeds 20 for $399. If you want a buffer for second helpings or a few extra guests, size up to the 30-person Office Spread ($599). You can see all sizes and pricing on our catering packages page.

Catering for 50 people: The 50-person Full Spread is built for exactly this. It is one of the most common orders we run for office lunches and team meetings, at about $19.98 a head.

Catering for 100 people: The 100-person Grand Spread covers it at roughly $20 a head, the same per-person price as every other spread. For an event this size we need at least 24 hours for drop-off, or 3 days if you want staffed service.

Handling the in-between headcounts

Not every group is a round number. Two simple rules cover the gaps:

• Ask for a custom quote. Hosting 35? Tell us your number and we will build a custom quote, for example a 30-person spread plus add-on trays.
• Individually boxed lunches are available by quote. Box contents, pricing, quantities, and preparation time are confirmed in your written quote. For shared trays, compare the current catering packages. Family Tray serves 7–10 for $159.99; 20-person Spread serves 20 for $399; 30-person Office Spread serves 30 for $599; 50-person Full Spread serves 50 for $999; 75-person Banquet Spread serves 75 for $1,500; 100-person Grand Spread serves 100 for $1,999. Order timing scales with the size and style of your event:

Package notice varies by size: Family Tray: 30 minutes. 20-person Spread: 10 hours. 30-person Office Spread: 10 hours. 50-person Full Spread: 24 hours. 75-person Banquet Spread: 24 hours. 100-person Grand Spread and larger events: 24 hours. Staffed, full-service events: 3 days. Staffed service for 50 or more guests is quoted per event.
