Is the food halal?
Our beef and chicken are halal-sourced. We also run a full vegan menu and gluten-free options, so one order covers a Muslim student org, vegan club, and faculty in the same room.
How much does it cost to feed a campus group?
Bundles run from the 20-person Spread at $399 (feeds 20) up to the 100-person Grand Spread at $1,999 (feeds 100) — about $19.95–$20.00 per person, with the per-head cost dropping as the group gets bigger. On a tight budget, order à-la-carte trays and build to your exact number.
Can you do individually boxed lunches for events between sessions?
Yes. We offer lidded and labeled, individually packaged meals — ideal for grab-and-go during conferences, exam-week study halls, or any event where a shared tray isn't practical.
How much notice do you need for a graduation reception or large event?
For a standard drop-off, 10 hours is typical for up to 30 guests and 24 hours for 50 or more. For a full-service staffed event of 50 or more guests, plan on at least 3 days ahead. Staffed service is quoted per event for groups of 50+.
Do you deliver to campus, and how much is delivery?
We deliver across San Diego County: free within 5 miles, $30 for 5–15 miles, $50 for 16–40 miles, and $60 beyond that. Pickup is always free at 4884 Newport Avenue in Ocean Beach.
Can a department set up a standing weekly or monthly order?
Yes — we do recurring orders on any cadence you want, so a weekly seminar lunch or monthly faculty meeting can run on autopilot. We also offer Net-30 invoicing for established institutional clients and are on ezCater.
What comes in each catering bundle?
Every bundle includes beef and chicken shawarma, saffron basmati rice, fresh salad, hummus, hand-formed falafel, pita, and house sauces. Cream chop trays can be added separately. Place settings are optional add-ons on your quote; single-use serviceware is only sent when requested.
