1. About us
Shawarma House SD is a Mediterranean restaurant operating a single physical location in Ocean Beach, San Diego, California. Online ordering for pickup and delivery is provided through our partner Toast at order.toasttab.com/online/shawarma-house-4884-newport-ave. Catering inquiries can be made through the catering pages on this Site or by contacting us directly at (619) 642-0298.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order or create an account through any service we offer. By using the Site you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Online ordering and payment
- Online food orders are processed by Toast under Toast’s own terms and privacy policies. When you complete an order on the Toast platform, your payment information is handled directly by Toast and its payment processors. We never see or store your full payment card information.
- Prices, item availability, and promotions shown on the Site or on our Toast page may change without notice. The price displayed at checkout is the price you pay.
- Once an order is confirmed and being prepared, it generally cannot be cancelled. If something is wrong with your order, please call us at (619) 642-0298 during our hours of operation and we will make it right.
4. Pickup, delivery, and third-party platforms
- Pickup is available at 4884 Newport Ave., San Diego, CA 92107 during our hours of operation: 11 AM â 8 PM daily.
- Delivery may be fulfilled by Toast’s delivery partners or other third-party platforms. Delivery times and fees are determined by the platform fulfilling the delivery, and we cannot guarantee specific delivery windows.
- Orders placed through third-party marketplaces (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, etc.) are subject to those platforms’ terms; we are not responsible for issues that arise solely from the third-party platform’s service.
5. Catering
Catering orders typically require advance notice. Minimums, deposits, and cancellation timelines may apply and will be confirmed in writing before a catering order is finalized. Catering deposits, if any, may be non-refundable past the cancellation deadline disclosed at the time of booking.
6. Refunds
Because we serve fresh, prepared food, we generally do not offer refunds on completed orders. If your order is incorrect, missing items, or has a quality issue, please contact us at (619) 642-0298 the same day so we can resolve it. Where a third-party platform fulfilled the order, refunds are handled through that platform’s customer support.
7. Allergens and food safety
We prepare a wide variety of items in a shared kitchen. While we take care to avoid cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that any item is free of any specific allergen. If you have a serious food allergy, please call us before ordering. Customers assume responsibility for confirming the suitability of any item with our staff.
8. Account information
If you create an account on this Site (e.g., to manage past orders), you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
