What's actually on the vegan catering menu?
It's a real, full plant-based spread, not an afterthought side. The vegan menu is built around falafel, vegan shawarma, and vegan cream chop, with hummus, tabouli, and fattoush, plus house-made vegan sauces (toum, tahini, and hot sauce), so vegan guests get a complete plate rather than a single token option. We also offer a-la-carte trays priced per tray and included in your quote if you want to build out specific dishes.
Can one order feed both vegans and meat-eaters at the same event?
Yes, that's exactly how we set it up. A single spread can cover your vegan, vegetarian, and meat-eating guests together, so you don't have to place separate orders. Every spread already includes beef and chicken shawarma, saffron rice, salad, hummus, falafel, pita, and house sauces, and we layer our full vegan menu on top so everyone eats from the same table on one order.
Are the sauces vegan-friendly?
Yes - our house-made toum (garlic sauce), tahini, and hot sauce are all plant-based, so vegan guests get the same flavors as everyone else rather than a dry plate. If a guest is strict about specific ingredients, tell us when you order and we'll walk you through the menu. We'd rather be straight with you up front than have someone guessing at the table.
Do you have gluten-free options?
We're gluten-free-friendly, not certified gluten-free. We can build plates over saffron rice with no pita, which covers a lot of guests, and items like hummus and falafel-based builds work well. The honest caveat: we cook in a shared kitchen, so we can't guarantee zero cross-contact. If a guest has a severe allergy, tell us when you order and we'll be straight with you about what we can and can't promise.
Is the rest of the food halal?
Yes. All of our beef and chicken has been halal since we opened. So at a mixed-diet event, your vegan guests get the full plant-based menu and your meat-eating guests get halal shawarma from the same order, which makes one spread work for vegan, vegetarian, halal-observant, and everyday guests at once.
How does a single order cover such different diets at once?
It comes down to how the menu is built. Every spread includes beef and chicken shawarma, saffron rice, salad, hummus, falafel, pita, and house sauces, and our full vegan menu rides alongside it on the same order, with all of our beef and chicken halal since we opened. That means one order can feed vegan, vegetarian, halal-observant, gluten-free-friendly, and everyday guests together. We do work from a shared kitchen, so for severe allergies tell us up front and we'll be honest about what we can and can't promise. If you'd rather hand each guest their own meal, we also offer individually boxed and lidded and labeled single-person lunches.
This is for a mixed-diet wedding, campus event, or office lunch. How does pricing work?
Individually boxed lunches are available by quote. Box contents, pricing, quantities, and preparation time are confirmed in your written quote. For shared trays, compare the current catering packages. Family Tray serves 7–10 for $159.99; 20-person Spread serves 20 for $399; 30-person Office Spread serves 30 for $599; 50-person Full Spread serves 50 for $999; 75-person Banquet Spread serves 75 for $1,500; 100-person Grand Spread serves 100 for $1,999.
How much notice do you need, and can you deliver across San Diego?
For a standard drop-off, plan on about 48 hours of notice; for full-service staffed events of 50 or more guests, give us 5 or more days. We deliver across San Diego County, including the Sorrento Valley, Torrey Pines, University City (UTC) corridor, and Downtown, with delivery free within 5 miles, $30 for 5 to 15 miles, $50 for 16 to 40 miles, and $60 beyond that, or free pickup at 4884 Newport Ave in Ocean Beach.
