Shared trays and buffet spreads — when the office wants family-style
Some offices would rather gather around a spread than eat from boxes. Every spread is complete: beef and chicken shawarma, saffron rice, salad, hummus, falafel, pita, house sauces, and disposable ware included — nothing for you to source separately. How much does a lunch-and-learn cost to cater in San Diego?
A lunch-and-learn for a typical office of 15 runs about $315–$420 as individually boxed lunches ($21–$28 per person, 15-box minimum), or $399 as a Small Spread that feeds 15 family-style — both land in roughly the same per-person range once you do the math. The boxed math scales the same way at any headcount: 25 people is $525–$700 boxed, or $599 as an Office Spread. Which way you go isn’t really a budget question — it’s a format question. Boxes cost about the same per person as a spread but solve a different problem: no line, no shared serving utensils, and a label on every box so a dietary-flagged meal reaches the right person without you having to manage it live in the room.
One order, every diet in the room
A medical office lunch is never one diet. Ours covers the whole room in a single order. All of our beef and chicken has been halal-sourced since the day we opened — halal meat served, on every order. The vegan menu is real food, not a garnish: falafel, vegan shawarma, vegan cream chop, hummus, tabouli, and fattoush salad, with vegan house sauces — toum, tahini, and hot sauce. Gluten-free-friendly guests can build over saffron rice without pita.
Two things we want you to know before you order: tahini contains sesame, and our hummus contains tahini. We’re a shared kitchen — cross-contact is always possible, so we can’t guarantee any item for severe allergies. Talk to us first and we’ll walk through the order together.
