Planning for more than 100? We cater large events and weddings. Tell us your headcount and we’ll build a custom spread. Direct orders above 100 guests also get our volume discount; custom menus and boxed lunches are quoted here too.
Chafer sets are $35 each (rack, fuel and serving utensil) for orders under 75 guests. Orders of 75 or more guests include free chafer sets with fuel, lighters and full setup: 3 at 75 guests, and 4 at 100 guests or more (free chafers top out at 4 sets; additional sets beyond that are $35 each). The 50-person Full Spread includes 2 chafer sets upon request.
Place settings are optional. Include them in your quote request if you need them. Single-use serviceware is only sent when requested.

Shawarma House holds an active California ABC Type 58 Caterer’s Permit. Service requires event-specific approval by California ABC, with San Diego County events handled by the appropriate San Diego district office, and is subject to our license privileges, venue and other required approvals, and compliance with the California Alcoholic Beverage Control Act and applicable regulations. Alcohol service is not confirmed until all required approvals are received.

Every catering order is halal — all of our beef and chicken has been halal-sourced since we opened. Alongside the meat we run a full vegan menu (falafel, vegan shawarma, hummus, tabouli, fattoush, and house-made vegan sauces: toum, tahini, hot sauce), and we do gluten-free-friendly builds over saffron rice with no pita. One order can cover halal-observant, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free-friendly guests together.
Common allergens to flag for your group: sesame (tahini — also in hummus), dairy (tzatziki, feta), gluten (pita and gyro bread), and tree nuts (baklava). Our kitchen is shared, so we’re gluten-free-friendly rather than certified gluten-free and can’t guarantee zero cross-contact — for severe allergies, tell us up front in your quote notes and we’ll be honest about what we can and can’t promise.
